Terms of Sale and Informed Consent

These Terms of Sale govern the bookings and services offered by Majida Glam, a studio specialised in semi-permanent lip makeup (lip blush, pigment neutralisation, colour correction).

Any booking made via the majidaglam.com website or any associated booking platform implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.

Appointments are booked online via the website or the associated booking platform.

A CHF 50 deposit, paid online at the time of booking, is required to confirm the appointment. This deposit serves to block a time slot and to cover the preparation of materials, the workstation, and the time reserved for the client.

This deposit is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation (change of mind, conflict, forgetfulness, etc.).

The balance of the service is payable on the day of the appointment, unless otherwise stated.

If the client is more than 15 minutes late, Majida Glam reserves the right to cancel the appointment and keep the deposit.

Any cancellation or rescheduling request must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment.

For cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance, the deposit can be transferred once to a new date, subject to availability.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment or in case of no-show on the day, the deposit is automatically forfeited.

Majida Glam also reserves the right to refuse any future booking in case of repeated absences or non-compliance with these terms.

No refund will be issued for a service that has been partially started, interrupted, or judged unsatisfactory in a subjective manner.

Before any session, the client must confirm that they have read the information about the procedure and give their informed consent.

The client acknowledges:

• understanding the nature of the procedure and how it unfolds
• having received the information regarding pre and post-treatment care
• freely accepting the aesthetic treatment.

Without valid consent, the service cannot be carried out.

Semi-permanent makeup is an aesthetic procedure that involves certain potential risks.

These risks may include, without being limited to:

• allergic reactions
• infection
• inflammation or swelling
• asymmetry
• excessive or irregular healing
• colour fading or pigment variation over time.

The client acknowledges that results may vary depending on individual factors such as:

• skin type
• lifestyle
• sun exposure
• medication
• compliance with post-treatment care.

No specific outcome can be guaranteed.

The client undertakes to provide complete and accurate medical information regarding their state of health, treatments, allergies and medical history.

Any omission, inaccurate information or concealment may increase the risks associated with the procedure.

In such cases, Majida Glam cannot be held responsible for any complications.

It is also the client's responsibility to mention any known sensitivity or allergy, particularly to pigments, cosmetic products or topical anaesthetics.

Even without an allergy history, a reaction remains possible.

The client confirms having read the main contraindications to semi-permanent lip makeup and declares not being affected by any of the following situations:

• uncontrolled diabetes or haemophilia
• pregnancy or breastfeeding
• HIV infection
• severe allergy or active skin condition (e.g. cold sores)
• autoimmune disease or significant heart condition
• treatment with vitamin A (retinoids) or chemotherapy
• recent lip injections (a minimum delay of one month is required).

These conditions can increase the risk of complications or affect healing and the final result.

The client undertakes to inform the technician immediately if any of these situations apply.

The results of semi-permanent makeup depend on many biological and behavioural factors.

The client acknowledges that:

• a touch-up session may be necessary to optimise the result
• colour variation during healing is normal
• the longevity and intensity of the pigment evolve over time.

Touch-ups are paid services: 1-month touch-up CHF 125, annual touch-up CHF 175 (current prices shown on the website). Beyond that, the price depends on the time elapsed since the first session and the work required.

No refund will be issued for subjective dissatisfaction with the result.

Majida Glam does everything possible to guarantee the quality and safety of services.

However, Majida Glam cannot be held liable for:

• unforeseen reactions related to the client's biological background
• incorrect or incomplete medical information
• non-compliance with post-treatment recommendations and care.

As part of documenting the services, photos or videos may be taken before, during or after the session.

These images may be used for professional and promotional purposes (website, social media, portfolio).

The client may refuse the use of their image by stating so explicitly before the session.

The information collected during booking and the client questionnaire is strictly confidential.

It is used only for:

• managing appointments
• client follow-up
• service safety.

This data is processed in accordance with Swiss data protection law.

These terms are governed by Swiss law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution.

Failing an agreement, the courts of the canton of Geneva (Switzerland) shall have sole jurisdiction.
