Understanding color fluctuations and ghost phase after Lip Blush

Every micropigmentation client experiences an emotional roller coaster during week one. *"Day 2: It's way too bright!"* followed by *"Day 7: Wait, did all the color disappear?!"* Rest assured: this is 100% normal.

Phase 2: The "Ghost Phase" (Days 5 to 10)

When superficial crusts shed, new baby skin cells are thick and opaque, acting like frosted glass over the pigment underneath. The color appears faint or vanished. Over the next 3 weeks, as these cells mature and become translucent, the radiant color resurfaces!
